Start / Finish: Rockets & Rascals!

Did you ride our Hell Ride event but wondered about some slightly gnarlier trails on your mountain bike, looking for a great excuse to test your e-mtb to the full or just fancy hooking up with some mates to ride your mountain bikes? 

Circus of Dirt is a magical blast around Plymouth's best trails, it's not a race, it's a ride out onto the edge of Dartmoor, GPS route supplied and sign marked with some helpful marshals, some light hearted competition between mates and a feed station/checkpoint.

The route will take in around 15 miles of great trails before you hit Newnham Park where the challenge gets real, you'll take on some special rally stages, a fast flowing downhill, a technical climb, a trials stage and a "special" stage all in the surroundings of one of the UK's most iconic riding destinations. 

Once you have completed all of the stages and had your card stamped it's back onto the trails and a pedal back to Rockets & Rascals for tea/coffee and buns. Cycling on the big screen and tails from the trails. 

The crew from Rockets will be out over the winter refining the route into something special to make sure you have a great day of riding. 

It's a fun event, all entries get a special edition Circus of Dirt t-shirt included and once you're done riding then it's all back to Rockets & Rascals for coffee / cider or even a Hell Ride Pilsner. 

This event runs as part of Rockets & Rascals club, registered with Cycling UK.

You can ride a E-mtb (electric mountain bike) or mountain bike - a gravel / road bike will not be suitable. Parts of the route may be on the public highway and you'll need to use good sense and follow the highway code. Entry is limited to 199 riders. 

Registration will open from 0700 at Rockets & Rascals, coffee will be available and even a bacon butty - with riders heading off from 0800. All riders MUST be rolling by 08:30. We operate a rolling bubble for the event so we'll be stripping the course immediately behind the last riders so please do not try to turn up and ride late. 

A route file will be provided for GPS but we'll sign the majority of the route. Final details will be sent the weekend before and also added to this blurb. 

Pick your shirt size and sign up, all shirts will be available to collect at the end of your ride. PLEASE ENTER IN ADVANCE, to make these events decent we need entries in advance, event organisers cannot do good work with last minute entries. Entry will close the weekend before or when all 199 places are sold out.
