Hell Ride 2024

It's back for the first time since Covid savaged the country and the term Hell Ride took on a whole new dimension. Hell Ride returns on Sunday 29th September. 

Remixed for 2024 join us for a 60km (ish) gravel ride around Plymouth's best trails, it's not a race, it's a magical ride out onto the edge of Dartmoor, GPS route supplied and sign marked with some helpful marshals and a feed station/checkpoint. As is customary we'll also be including a few "special tests" along the way that will challenge your riding skills and give you an opportunity to win a special prize. The crew from Rockets will be out all summer refining the route into something special to make sure you have a great day of riding. 

It's a fun event, all entries get a one-off special edition Hell Ride t-shirt included and once you're done riding then it's all back to Rockets & Rascals for coffee / cider or even a Hell Ride Pilsner. 

This event runs as part of Rockets & Rascals club, registered with Cycling UK. You can ride a gravel bike or mountain bike - a road bike will definitely not be suitable. Parts of the route may be on the public highway and you'll need to use good sense and follow the highway code. Entry is limited to 199 riders. 

Registration will open from 0700 at Rockets & Rascals, coffee will be available and maybe even a bacon butty - with riders heading off from 0800. All riders must be rolling by 08:30. 

A route file will be provided for GPS but we'll do our very best to sign the entire route. Final details will be sent the weekend before and also added to this blurb. 

Pick your shirt size and sign up, all shirts will be available to collect at the end of your ride. PLEASE ENTER IN ADVANCE, to make these events decent we need entries in advance, event organisers cannot do good work with last minute entries. Entry will close the weekend before or when all 199 places are sold out.
