Hell Ride 2026

Hell Ride 2025 was a great vibe with some wild yet sunny moors, fast quarry descents and even a tuck shop!  Hell Ride returns on Sunday 20th September 2026.

Remixed for 2026 join us for a 60km (ish) trail ride around Plymouth's best trails, it's not a race, it's a magical ride out onto the edge of Dartmoor, GPS route supplied (in case you fall asleep at the wheel) and sign marked with some helpful marshals and a tuck shop.

It's a fun event, all entries get a one-off special edition Hell Ride t-shirt included and once you're done riding then it's all back to Rockets & Rascals for coffee / cider or even a Hell Ride Pilsner. 

This event runs as part of Rockets & Rascals club, registered with Cycling UK. You can ride a gravel bike or mountain bike - a road bike will definitely not be suitable. Parts of the route may be on the public highway and you'll need to use good sense and follow the highway code. Some of the trails are pretty gnarly so if you're choosing to ride your gravel bike then it will be a proper test, on a mountain bike they'll be completely fine.

E-bikes are fine to ride, just be mindful of your muscle bike fellow riders and help look after them. 

The ride starts and ends at Rockets & Rascals. Registration will open from 0700 at Rockets & Rascals, coffee will be available and even a bacon butty - with riders heading off from 0815 All riders MUST be rolling by 08:30.

We operate a rolling bubble for the event so we'll be stripping the course immediately behind the last riders so please do not try to turn up and ride late. 

If you are struggling we also reserve the right to direct you past sections of the course, this is to keep everyone, including our marshals and course teams, safe and also for your own safety.
